We offer a discount if the Gatehouse is taken as well as the wedding site. Wedding ceremonies may be held on the property prior to the reception at no additional charge. However we request that no alcohol be served until after the ceremony. For the bride's convenience there is a room and bath available for her use, in the main house. An additional bath, for the site, will be secured for the guests to use at lessees cost. Also needed will be one or two spotters @ $22.00 an hour or the going rate . They will arrive an hr. before the event and remain one hr. after. The number of spotters is determined by the size of your reception. They will be chosen by lessor and paid by lessee.
If your wedding ceremony is not on the estate, we can chauffeur you in our vintage Jaguar Salon. There would be a nominal charge for this. The Newport area is known for live music, and we are lucky to have an excellent musician on the premises, he can assist you with choosing the music for the day. At this time, we do not supply tents or caterers. We would be glad to give you advice from our experience.
The Gatehouse leases for $2500.00 - $3500.00 a week. Price depends on the month rented, the length of the lease and number of people.
On occasion we will lease the first and second floor of the main house. There are 15 rooms, which include 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The week rental for this house is $6500.00 - $7500.00 per week. As an alternative to this we are considering leasing a section of the main house with three bedrooms and two baths for wedding guests. A minimum of 2 nights would be required and the cost would be $500.00 - $600.00 per night. A continental breakfast is served on the porch for guests of the main house.
Smoking is not allowed in the houses.
